Self esteem is the way we view and feel about ourselves. This will have a very profound effect on how our life will proceed each day.
The opinions and experiences that we have gathered since child hood from parents, school, friends and society plays a part in developing self-esteem, but how we take it and view those opinions determines our self esteem.

Goal setting is an important process to develop self esteem. Let us start with a small goal, set a time frame and achieve it. This process will gradually build our confidence levels and self esteem. The goal can be anything – a goal to go for walk every day for 30 minutes in the next 30 days. After 30 days, this will become a habit and later it will be difficult to stop the habit.
